For the Feast of the Baptism of Jesus, the first Sunday after the Epiphany, Father Paul Wheatley does an instructed Eucharist, showing forth the glory of God revealed in the Eucharistic liturgy. With a little help from St. Peter Chrysologus of Ravenna, Fr. Paul goes through various portions of the service, explaining the symbolism, purpose, and meaning of some of the portions of the liturgy.
Note: Since this occurred over the course of the service, the sermon is broken into pieces. Stops and starts in the recording are placed where the liturgy picks up. If you care to, you can follow along in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, beginning at p. 323.
