2017 05 07 Easter 4: The Fallacy of Freedom

On the day of Pentecost, thousands are so convicted and inspired by the Holy Spirit's witness and work that they "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to the prayers." (Acts 2:42) What does it mean to be devoted to something? What are we already devoted to? How can we choose to be devoted to Jesus, how might that transform our lives?
